My name is Elizabeth, I am very interested in one of your up and coming pups. I am can’t stop looking at long haired GS-they are so beautiful and your photography is the best I’ve seen of them! I currently have a 13 yo Golden Retriever, we just lost our girl 2 months ago and they have always been my fav. breed but knew that when the time came I’d consider another. Ii believe you are in WV, I’m in Buffalo, NY. I was wondering what your cost of your pups are and I think I’d want a pup from Sky and Sniper. I also think I’d like a female. I want her primarily for a pet but I always wanted to get into agility training for fun and I think she’d be up for the task. LMK! Blessings-Elizabeth

You know, you won’t be able to tell the sire by the date the puppies are born–they will all be born on the same day. The puppies don’t begin developing until after the fertilized eggs attach to the uterine wall, so all puppies start developing at the same time so they will be ready to be born at the same time. You will probably need to DNA test the whole litter to know for sure who is the sire (other than you will know that any sables are out of Twister–but just because a puppy isn’t sable doesn’t mean Pando isn’t the sire).

      Hello Cristine,

There was an 11 day period between breeding to the different sires. So that is why I said that I’ll know according to the date they are born.

If the breeding had been closer I realize that the DNA testing would need to be done prior to saying who the sire was.

But thanks for trying to be helpful.

All I can say is I have a puppy out of Swat and Rocket. The BEST and most beautiful dog I have ever owned!! The pictures of these dogs are breath taking. Wait till you see one of the puppy’s in person! Have had GSD for 30 years, and these pups temperaments and looks are QUALITY!!

Rocket is stunning!! I wish I lived on a big farm! I’d raise and breed goldens and shepherds!! can’t wait for my pup!

Yes…Rocket is a very stunning, good natured boy! I always enjoy giving him hugs when I see him in our dog training class :-)

WV farm life, photography and beautiful Long Coat German Shepherds do make for a wonderful quality of life :-) I’m very fortunate.

We are getting closer to the due dates for the pups! Hang in there!

Thank you Denice! Please send pictures of our baby! I’d love to see how AnaBelle is turning out, and I’ll post the photos of her if it’s okay with you.

How is her therapy dog training coming along?
