SWAT’s Mom

Maja was a black and tan working bloodline German Shepherd shown here sitting on the left, and Binka is the working bloodline black German Shepherd laying on the right. These are SWAT’s parents.

Maja’s parents were imported from Germany, and Binka is a Czech working  bloodline German Shepherd whose grand-sire was a top bomb detection dog imported from Czech.

Binka is retired from breeding and is a family pet now. She is a black working line German Shepherd with a Czech import grand-sire who was a top bomb detection dog. She came from a professional working line breeder/trainer.

She is very affectionate, intelligent, and willing to please. She has great prey drive, and she and her daughter SWAT keep the farm population of mice, rats, moles, groundhogs, and possums under control. Who needs a cat with dogs like these?? LOL

Both she and her daughter SWAT love going on photo-shoots on the farm with Kelly and showing off for the camera.  They know when the camera comes out that the exploring and adventures begin!

Both SWAT and Binka are excellent guard dogs on the farm, and are often used to patrol the fenced enclosures, especially around the house.

Sadly…Maja passed over the Rainbow Bridge and is sorely missed on the farm, and especially during photo-shoots where he was a superstar model, and knew it!
